At High and Pure, our journey began with a shared vision to create a sustainable society rooted in two fundamental principles close to our hearts: to craft products and a brand that minimizes our footprint on our planet, and to empower individuals to embrace a net zero lifestyle.

Our story is one of friendship, shared values, and a deep-rooted connection to our homelands of India and Nepal. As first-generation immigrants with humble beginnings, we were raised in a culture where waste was minimal, and everything was reused or repurposed. This ethos was ingrained in us from a young age, and it became the cornerstone of our mission.

Our friendship, forged by parallel upbringings, grew stronger over time as we discovered the synchronicity of our thoughts and the alignment of our values. A pivotal moment came during a trip to the Himalayas in 2018 when our purpose crystallized. There, amidst the majestic peaks, we bore witness to a poignant scene: women diligently carrying on the dwindling art of handicrafts in their front yards. It was a stark reminder of the traditions we cherished from our childhood and a sobering realization of the encroaching allure of materialism. It was then that the seeds of High and Pure were sown – a vision to merge our heritage of sustainability with a passion for preserving timeless traditions.

Natural Dyeing:
